Terms of Service — SliceBill

1. About SliceBill

SliceBill is an expense-splitting application developed and operated by DARDAN SP. Z O.O. (ul. Lewandowskiej 68, 43-143 Lędziny, Poland; NIP: 6462933321; KRS: 0000497120). SliceBill helps groups track shared expenses and calculate who owes what.

SliceBill is not a financial service, a payment processor, or a bank. The app performs calculations only — it does not move money, hold funds, or execute transactions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SliceBill, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SliceBill. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental consent.

4. Your Account

• You may use SliceBill without an account (guest mode) for local-only groups.
• To sync data across devices or share groups, you must create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion is irreversible.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SliceBill for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent security measures
• Use the app to harass, defraud, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service

6. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into SliceBill (expense names, amounts, member names). By using the service, you grant DARDAN SP. Z O.O. a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the SliceBill service.

We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for advertising or sale to third parties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SliceBill is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Expense calculations are provided for informational purposes and may contain errors.

Always verify settlement amounts independently before making payments.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Polish law, DARDAN SP. Z O.O. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of SliceBill, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from calculation errors or data loss.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of SliceBill after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts competent for the registered office of DARDAN SP. Z O.O.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
